Volunteering at the Lincoln Park Community Shelter

Lincoln Park Community Services has a dedicated group of volunteers who help us provide services to more than 400 clients each year. Without their support, it would be impossible to fulfill the mission of LPCS to empower men and women experiencing homelessness in making and sustaining life changes, while also bringing communities together.

Please read more about our opportunities by clicking here.  LPCS does not accept volunteers who have court ordered community service. After reviewing the volunteer descriptions please submit our volunteer application or contact Jen Kouba, Associate Director of Voluntter and Community Engagement, via email at or 773.549.6111, ext. 216.

Volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation after completing a Volunteer Application. Orientations are about 30 minutes long and take place at Lincoln Park Community Services on the lower level of 600 W. Fullerton under the Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church. The entrance is down a short flight of stairs under the red awning. Please ring the bell and state your name and that you are attending the Volunteer Orientation. Please contact Jen Kouba to be added to the calendar for your preferred orientation date.
